Maybe this could be a weekend thing, maybe it could work as an arena. But I think there should be an arena with all the prophecies and core skills at their original specs, all the attributes at their original specs, just so we could go play the game as it was originally made.

IMO, I had the most fun with PvP, GvG and the like when it was Prophecies only, and with Factions, Nightfall and countless nerfings, it has made the game less fun than it once was.

quite frankly, make the whole pvp game that way, all the influx of skills has just bloated the game and made it extremely difficult to balance, and its a task that I think still has to be tamed.

WTB no minion cap and unlimited soul reaping again!
Face it, the balance wasn't 'all that' before factions either; the meta-nerf-chain just hadn't started yet.
But for the above 2 fun things of unbalancedness, /signed

The 'improvements' in balance haven't magically fixed everything, so for 1 weekend changing 1 broken thing into another broken thing isn't all bad I guess.
It would probably make a good sedative, before another surprise big skill changes weekend.

I am however puzzled about why you'd call it 'Vanilla PvP weekend' ? Nostalgia would be better IM(I)O
